- I am starting a fast today. I have had financial troubles and a hurting shoulder. I ran the sink over in the bathroom and flooded 3 areas. My mother is in a nursing home and can't speak or move, My last living aunt is in a different nursing home with pneumonia her future is questionable, her doctor is working against her. Her family is selfishly thinking of themselves and little else. We need prayer. I discovered this site and I am really enjoying it.

After Thanksgiving Downer

I have thanksgiving dinner at my house each year for the past 20 odd years. This year I was a little down. I missed my Mom not being here I think, She is in a nursing home and I really got down when my last Aunt couldn't come because she was in a nursing home with pneumonia.
My cousin who was staying with me while recuperating from a hospital stay announced that he was not going to be at dinner either. He was headed to his home town of the holiday.
