What are your views on surrogacy? My feelings are this: I think it's wrong on many levels. I know there are many couples who can't have children but I believe adoption would be the more appropriate option. For one, the steps a man has to take to even donate in the first place. It's nothing but a lust fest. Secondly, I think this could cause mental anguish - wonder whose child this really is? my wife can have children but not by me, or my husband donated sperm to another woman so the child isn't really mine. My last negative is Abraham. When Sarai couldn't bear children, she offered her maidservant & said take her. My son is in Iraq today because of the mistake Abraham made thousands of years ago in consenting to this proposal. I know today you don't have to physically have sex but the principle is still the same.

I have to say that I agree that it is wrong. I would rather adopt then go through all that and plus I wouldn't want my husband to have children with another women whether or not they had intmacy. I can see how hard it is for my husband to go through things knowing that my oldest and middle children are with other men. He adopted the first one and he loves them all like his own but he is also aware that they are other men's children. I wish that they could have all been his but we cannot change the past and I do love my children with all my heart. Anyhow that is my thoughts. I am not saying that it is right or wrong just saying how I feel about it all.
