For Christ Or For Anti-christ

Does things in your life ad up to be for Christ or for Anti-Christ....

It may sound crazy but I been doing some thinking about this vary thing. It bagan the othere day when I was on facebook playing a Game. Just online to have some fun right? And it was alot of fun. Then I went to check out my wall, and seen friends, and family posting vary funny stuff. And as I started to share some of the things they was posting. It came to me. I was doing a vary bad thing. Going along with the crowd. Have you ever been there posting things you know you should not post. Anyway the more I thought about it. That is how the spirit of Anti-Christ works Covering lies up to look like fun, and showing us every one else is doing it. So we join in and get lost. So the big question is Facebook evil. Lol no its not but like any thing its what people make of it. We see that all things can be used for or against Christ And his people. I don't know what God is working with me here on. But I do know christian people are walking a line some times with the things they do. I know also that it all made me think. About trying my vary best to make Mylook Online a safe fun place for Christians Online to share there faith with every one. So there will be some big changes coming to this network. The Goal is to make this network a fun place online to biuld every ones faith.

I was guilty of that very thing today. I was posting those awesome '80s rock songs with a friend going down the memory lane.

Lol My step Dad post song that take me down memory line all the time and i am right there with him reposing them.

I didn't say I wasn't enjoying them. lolol. I was just feeling bad that I wasn't listening to Christian music. I enjoyed it though. lol

I understand what you are saying.  I haven't thought about it as being "going along with the crowd on Facebook."  Here is the question I have asked myself:  How much media, entertainment is ok?"  We are all here to bring Glory to God right?  At the same time, we are to be relevant in the time to which we are assigned.  This is something that I think of a lot lately.  I want to bring Glory to God and always be ready for Him.  At the same time does getting involved with entertainment (even if it is not sinful) wasting time?  Am I being sucked into "Babylon?"

I think alot of people are just looking to have good clean fun, I have a couple facebook pages. one is for my christian friends, and the othere is friends and family. Just to look at the videos friends and family post can bring you down a bad path, But the fb page with my christian friends they post alot of christian videos, and site. the thing is you kind of become like the crowd you are running with it seem. anyway that is what i have noticed with my two facebook pages. so is it wrong? or just clean fun. hmmmm. My Bible says come out fror among them. on the othere hand how to tell people about christ with out sharing things to them about Christ. Sheila  My Friend we just have to let Christ lead us in this matter. and have a good record of are selves. Jesus said not one would be lost out of his hands God has gave him. God bless

I agree.  We do need to listen to the Holy Spirit and let him guide us.  True.  Also, I am reminded that God speaks through His word and it says clearly:

Matthew 16:24
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.

I just can't picture Jesus getting on Facebook.  I also have a FB page called, "It's not about me, it's about you Jesus."  When I am posting on there or here talking about Biblical things, I don't feel like I am wasting time.  If I am doing something else or watching TV, I do.  I don't know.  I just need to pray about it more I think.  I know that Jesus is coming soon, and I just feel like He would want me working on sharing Him with others.

Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.

You was talking about one FB page for your friends & family. You know what's sad? I actually had to delete my son because his page was so bad.

Tammy that is sad.  I do have some friends too on my regular FB page that really post some things that I don't want to see.  I have an old high school friend who is the owner of a gay nightclub and his photos can be quite strange.  Anyway, I didn't delete him, but I do hide his feed.  I hope your son has a change of heart soon :)  Keep praying for him and never give up.

i have had to delete some people but thankfully not that many yet. and as for my son that is 14 now. he was on fb for while, but seemed to keep getting into things he should not have. so I dont let him on fb now. atlest for awhile. I have learned people under 18 need to be really watched on there.

Well, he's 26 & just caught his wife running around so, he's pretty bitter & is saying as much on his FB page.

Oh, I hope not. lol. He's suing the doctor she is running around with. In NC, we can sue people who commit adultery. The doctor has already tried to settle for $200,000. That is one expensive sin. LOLOLOL I just pray it brings him to the Lord because he has my 3 year old granddaughter. I've seen my son with the Lord & he was phenomenal. I pray the Lord brings him back no matter the cost. I feel this will be the situation after he gets this bitterness out of him.
